Weleda Celebrates 90th with Product Wrap

Weleda marks its 90th anniversary this year, and has chosen to emphasize its long-time message of sustainability and working in harmony with nature and the human being via its packaging. Some of its bestselling products, including Arnica Massage Oil and Skin Food, have been specially “wrapped” in sleeves that are FSC certified and recyclable. The new packaging sleeves simply slip over the current cartons—also  FSC-certified—with the product copy showing through. Four-color floral images and info on the brand’s support of the Conservation International organization aim to assure consumers that their purchase is making a difference. Weleda has donated $25,000 to Conservation International—a non-profit organization that works to protect the vital relationship between humanity and the natural world.
